Office Communicator 2007 is a communications client that enables CVTC faculty, staff, and students to communicate easily with each other using a range of different communication options, including instant messaging (IM), voice, and video. Use of this new technology is completely optional, but does provide several key features:
Key Features
Easy Access to Presence Information. Presence information shares your availability with other contacts, and allows you to view their availability. You can see whether a person is available, in a meeting, on the phone, or out of the office. Presence information is integrated from multiple sources such as your calendar, out of office message, computer activity, and your phone. You can also choose to set your status manually and/or add a custom message. You can also control who can see your information by assigning contacts to groups.Training on Communicator has been scheduled for these dates:
